Because understanding how the world works is the first step toward changing it.
I've never been satisfied with simply accepting that something works.
I want to know why it works. Who designed it. What assumptions it relies on. Who benefits from it. Who is affected by it. And what happens when it breaks.
That curiosity has taken me through technology, cybersecurity, privacy, business, law, and human behavior. More importantly, it has taught me that understanding is often the difference between being shaped by a system and having the ability to shape it yourself.
I believe one of our greatest responsibilities as human beings is to remain curious—to explore ideas, challenge assumptions, and share what we learn along the way. Progress begins when we choose to understand the world around us rather than simply accept it as it is.
